Allison Holker is moving forward.
Two years after the death of her husband of nine years Stephen "tWitch" Boss, the So You Think You Can Dance alum soft-launched her new romance with a cryptic photo.
In the adorable snap shared to her Instagram Aug. 28, Allison and her partner's shadows were cast against a concrete walkway, with their figures holding hands. To top off the sweet post, the 36-year-old captioned the image with a simple red heart emoji.
And fans couldn't be happier that Allison—who shares daughters Weslie, 16, and Zaia, 4, as well as son Maddox, 8, with tWitch—is exploring her second chance at love. As one user commented, "You deserve all the happiness."
Another wrote, "It's been a long time coming. Proud of you for taking the leap."
This isn't the first time Allison has hinted that she's ready to open herself up to the world of dating and relationships. She previously revealed that she would "embrace" the prospect of finding a new partner—in part to set an example for her kids.
"I want them to see that they can still learn to trust and love again," Allison told People in an interview published June 14. "It doesn't have to go away."
In fact, the dancer feels more prepared than ever to take on anything life throws at her, as she said she's "grown a lot" from dealing with the grief of losing tWitch, who died by suicide at age 40 in December 2022.
"It's been a journey for me just to kind of relearn me in this new phase of my life," Allison shared. "And I've changed a lot."
Noting that she's always been a person who lives by the quote, "Romanticize your life," the Keep Dancing Through: A Boss Family Groove author expressed that she still has hope for a "big life."
"There's not been one moment that I haven't thought to myself, 'I still want to live a big life,'" Allison explained. "I still would want to have love, would still want to travel the world."
She added, "I still want to see and experience new things with new people, new energy, my friends, my family, a loved one—a potential—and my kids."
Keep reading to look back on all the sweet family moments between Allison, tWitch and their three kids.
